iPhones For Everyone

Everyone should have a smartphone, it is almost necessary to have one. Therefore, the government should have to provide you a smartphone.
We live in a society where we depend on technology. Every day of our lives revolves around the ones and zeros inside our cellphones and computers. Technology has embedded itself into every aspect of our lives. So it would be safe to say that every person has a smartphone in their pocket to use at any time right? Everyone should have a smartphone, it is almost necessary to have one. Therefore, the government should have to provide you a smartphone.
There are so many things you can do on a computer or phone, like contact people from afar, order food from home, etc. In some cases, it can involve work or school work. It's very important that you have some sort of technology at your disposal. But it isn't the same for everyone, because not everyone can easily afford or acquire a smartphone.
I think we are in a place where living without a phone is simply not possible. It would’ve been possible without a pandemic, but now things are more difficult in person. The other day, I went to san Francisco and there was no ticketmaster to sell parking tickets. I was supposed to download the app.
Yeah yeah, smartphones are expensive, but some aren't. It wouldn’t be ideal for everyone to be walking around with the iPhone 12. Some smartphones from different brands can reach around 100$ and even lower, and fulfill all the things your fancy iPhone can do, except face ID. And you'd probably get bullied.
I haven't really thought this idea through but I think you should get one along with your driver's license. I think being able to drive means having a phone is most useful at this point in your life. It's a good checkpoint in your life to give a phone to someone if they don't have one already.
